2. Professor Pigglepoggle

Their second trip leads them to a village where all the children have been ‘pigglepoggled’ by Professor Pigglepoggle’s experiments, in an attempt to make them better behaved children. Some have beards, others have been turned into ducks. As Nicolas is wearing his roller blades people think he too has been pigglepoggled, with wheels instead of feet.  The children are captured by the Beadle (policeman) and taken to be pigglepoggled, but Nicolas escapes and after various adventures, Professor Pigglepoggle, with the children’s help, manages to return everyone to normal.
